The Potomac School Upper School English Department is seeking a dynamic and talented full-time English teacher and student advisor for 2018-2019. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience teaching English in grades 9-12 and hold a bachelor’s degree in English, although a master’s degree is preferred. In addition to being passionate about classroom teaching and curriculum development, the faculty member should enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and be eager to establish meaningful relationships with students while supporting them in the development of their critical reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
