| Moravian Academy is seeking a passionate and dynamic faculty member to teach physical education and health classes and to lead wellness activities for students in grades 6-8. This position works collaboratively with a close knit department dedicated to improving the mind, body, and spirit of each student. Duties and Responsibilities: Teach physical education classes required for all middle school students Teach health classes required for all middle school students Lead an advisory group of 8-12 students Write trimester progress reports and report cards Understand, communicate, and exemplify the goals and vision of the organization Fulfill all duties expected of fulltime Middle School faculty, including, but not limited to, chaperone duties Ability to coach an athletic team(s) Attend meetings of the allschool physical education and health department to ensure a vertical and horizontal curriculum Attend Middle School divisional meetings To Apply: Submit digital materials, including a letter of intent, resume and statement of educational philosophy, to employment@moravianacademy.org .
