Responsibilities:

• Design and implement an engaging Spanish program for students in grades 6-8.
• Cultivate an appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures.
• Develop language skills through reading, writing, speaking, and listening using experiential lessons and projects.
• Use technology resources to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Serve as a student advisor and share supervisory duties with other Middle School teachers.
• Collaborate with a Middle School teaching team to incorporate cross-curricular learning experiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or language instruction required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish required.
• Prior experience teaching middle school students preferred.
• Passion for working with middle school students.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability and desire to work collaboratively.
• Vision for growth.
• Flexibility and a good sense of humor.
