Capitol Hill Day School is a progressive, coeducational day school in Washington DC, for approximately 225 students in grades PK-8. At Capitol Hill Day School, learning is challenging, engaging, playful, and relevant to the real world. Students learn across subjects with an experiential curriculum that integrates not only academic subjects, but the arts, physical education, service learning, and technology. Through an extensive field education program, students take part in experiences beyond the classroom related to topics of study. Capitol Hill Day School offers both Spanish and French to students beginning in their pre-kindergarten year and continuing through 8th grade. The School seeks a full-time Spanish teacher for PK- 8th grade. Spanish proficiency is essential and proficiency in both Spanish and French is a definite plus.
Master’s degree and/or or extensive language teaching experience; understanding of child development.
