The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of middle or high school teaching experience in mathematics and be comfortable working with accelerated learners and adapting the curriculum to be challenging and engaging. A masters’ degree in mathematics is preferable. A master's degree in education is also an acceptable credential for this position. In addition, a successful candidate will also have experience with math contests, such as AMC8, AMC10, MATHCOUNTS, Math Kangaroo, and Math League.
Speyer teachers participate in a curriculum that reaches far beyond content and processing skills, with a focus on character, community and service. Academic advising is an integral component of this position.
