The Speyer Legacy School, a K-8 school for accelerated learners in Manhattan, seeks a middle school writing teacher who has experience working with students with organizational challenges and documented learning differences. The position includes teaching organizational skills (5th grade); writing mechanics (6th grade); writing (7th grade); and individual and small group work with students who require academic support in reading, writing, and executive functioning. Academic advising will also be a component of this position.
