Quest Academy seeks an innovative, student-centered, self-motivated, and fluent Spanish educator to teach Lower School Spanish classes to students in preschool through fifth grade.
At Quest, teachers place students at the center of their own learning, to facilitate engaging hands-on and interdisciplinary learning experiences, and to have a deep understanding of child development, especially as it pertains to gifted learners. Quest also seeks to hire educators who possess a passion for service, equity, and social justice and who desire to grow personally and professionally in the field of education.
Develop and teach Spanish curriculum to preschool thru fifth-grade students.
Assess and contribute to student growth and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues.
Maintain open lines of communication with families.
Ensure program materials and activities respect, embrace and reflect the social and cultural diversity of our students.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with all forms of electronic communication and ability to prepare Excel (Sheets) and Word/Google documents for reporting.
Maintain up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
Preference to candidates with prior similar program experience.
