Waldorf School of Lexington (WSL) seeks a part-time Assistant Nursery Teacher starting September 2018. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a school setting; demonstrated interest in Waldorf early childhood education; and the ability work closely under the direction of the lead Nursery Teacher. In addition to supporting the teacher and children, the assistant’s duties include room setup and cleanup, cooking, baking, and keeping the environment clean and beautiful. Priority will be given to applicants who are interested in Waldorf early childhood teacher training, or have completed training. This is an hourly, part-time, non-benefited position, pay scale $15-$21 per hour. The Assistant Nursery Teacher works from 7:45 a.m. until 1:15 p.m., Monday–Friday, 27½ hours per week, throughout the school year.
