Upper School Science Department has an opening for a three month leave replacement teacher from the beginning of January through mid-April. The successful candidate will teach four sections of Science, which will include three sections of Chemistry and one section of Physics. This position requires a proven ability and experience teaching high school Physics and Chemistry. The successful applicant also serves as an advisor for 8-10 students. All faculty members are expected to support activities and events that contribute to the life of the school and to attend departmental, divisional and all-school staff meetings.
An undergraduate degree in Physics and/or Chemistry is required, and a graduate degree in Physics, Chemistry or Science Ed. is preferred. Successful independent high school teaching experience of at least three to five years is desired.
