The Crefeld School is looking for a part-time Spanish Teacher to begin working August 23, 2018.
The Crefeld School is a small, independent, progressive school, located in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia, serving 100 students in grades seven through twelve. Crefeld provides robust academic and emotional support services for the entire student body. At Crefeld, the Spanish Teacher will work under the direction of the Assistant Head of School.
The role of the Spanish Teacher includes:
Teaching three total sections, including at least one section of Spanish I and one section of Spanish II to students in 10 -12 grade
Following students' educational programs as outlined by their advisors and according to the schedule/routine of the classroom
Communicating with advisors and administration about the needs of individual students
S/he will be able to move easily into a strongly collegial professional environment, where collaboration, participation, creativity, and flexibility are highly prized attributes. College degree required with teaching certification. Strong communication skills are important. Competitive benefits.
