Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Physical Education Teacher to begin immediately
The Physical Education Teacher will promote wellness, team work, self-discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The Physical Education Teacher will teach all PK – 8 physical education classes, organize field day, and provide oversight to the small volunteer coaching staff. (part-time exempt, approx. 11 hours per week)
hold a bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university
be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
be able to collaborate effectively
be able to work effectively with students one on one and in small groups
upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
All Applicants should
have prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
hold a Virginia Teacher Certification or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire

Additional Salary Information: pay is in accordance with the Diocese of Richmond pay scale and depends on years of teaching experience
