Princeton Charter School seeks a smart and dynamic full-time drama teacher for students in grades 5-8. Trimester-long classes are kept intentionally small — 18 students per class — and meet 3 times per week. PCS's drama program is in its 5th year. The next drama teacher will have an opportunity to take a program that is newly established and truly make his or her mark on the program. It is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
In addition, the drama teacher overseas the annual musical performance.
Teachers must either have or be eligible for NJ Department of Education teacher certification. Candidates who did not pursue an undergraduate degree in teaching may qualify for NJ Charter School Licensure. Qualified candidates must
Hold a bachelor’s or an advanced degree from a regionally accredited college or university;
Achieve an appropriate grade point average (GPA);
Pass the appropriate State test of subject-matter knowledge; and
