ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, DONOR RELATIONS AND STEWARDSHIP , Sloan School of Management , to be responsible for contributing to and playing a key role in designing and leading broad-based strategies and implementing an overarching stewardship and donor relations plan for donors to MIT Sloan. Will develop, maintain, and execute (in partnership with prospect managers) the portfolio of personalized stewardship plans for Sloan's top donors, including members of its executive boards; manage the MBA fellowship reporting process which includes working closely with admissions, finance and students in order to track, award, and report on donor fellowship funds; manage high-profile stewardship projects from concept through execution; and write in the voice of various members of school leadership and faculty.
REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least five years' experience in development, prospect research, and/or donor relations; exceptional editing and written and oral communication skills; experience writing for senior leadership; experience working with a relational database (preferably Advance Web) and Microsoft Office (including Excel) and ability to download and export information between systems; strong project management skills; dedicated to providing top-notch customer service; meticulous attention to detail; discretion with confidential and sensitive information; effective interpersonal skills; and knowledge of ethics statements by APRA, Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and related associations. Seek a self-motivated individual who is able to prioritize work and manage multiple, diverse, and competing priorities while meeting deadlines; recall, recognize, and communicate interrelated information pertaining to Sloan donors and prospects; work independently and lead members of a team; and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
