UC Irvine School of Education Supervisor of Secondary Teacher Education in Art
For the 2018-2019 academic year, the School of Education may have a need for a temporary, part time supervisor for art candidates in its secondary teacher credential program. The supervisor is responsible for observing and providing feedback to candidates in fieldwork at middle school or high school classrooms, and attending professional development and faculty meetings. Must have own transportation and be available to visit schools throughout Orange County to observe candidates during school day hours. Most supervisor positions require a 2 or 3 consecutive quarter commitment.
Service Period Dates for 2018-2019 Academic Year: Fall Quarter: 9/24/18 - 12/14/18 Winter Quarter: 1/2/19 - 3/22/19 Spring Quarter: 3/27/19 - 6/14/19
Minimum Qualifications: California teaching credential in art. Relevant experience may be considered.
Desired Qualifications: A master's degree in education or relevant content area. Experience mentoring or teaching pre-service teachers.
Annual full-time salaries will begin at a base rate of $54,738.
