We are a high performing school in the heart of Tucson, Arizona USA. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Junior (Elementary) School French teacher to join our established team. You will be required to teach French as an immersion language across Elementary grades from 1 through 8 sometimes in a mixed class so a good understanding and experience in language differentiation will be essential.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.; BEd. BSC dependant of subject qualification) from four-year college or university; and at least one year teaching experience in the related field and/or training;
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to undergo training. Must have (or be able to obtain) an Arizona fingerprint clearance card, must be able to provide proof of a negative TB test results given within last two years.
Must be current on all immunizations and able to present four letters of recommendation (two professional and two personal).
