Under the direction of the Superintendent, leads the Educational Services department in the vision, planning, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of instructional programs for all Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade students according to learning goals established by the Superintendent, Board of Trustees, and District stakeholders; provides decisive, dynamic leadership, supervision of curriculum, instruction and learning outcomes; includes special education, state and federal categorical programs, technology, early childhood education, enrichment education, program evaluation, student assessment, intervention, and staff development; fosters continuous school improvement in academic content standards, social and emotional learning, and parent engagement.
Five years successful classroom teaching experience;
Two years successful administrative experience as a site principal;
District office experience desirable;
Experience in Curriculum/program development desirable
License and Certificate Requirements
Possession of valid California Teaching Credential required;
Possession of valid California Administrative Credential required;
Possession of valid California driver’s license
