Germantown Friends School is seeking substitute teachers to work with students at various grade levels, from Early Childhood through fifth grade, for both the Main Campus and the City Center Campus. Substitute teachers would be on our “on call” list in the event that a lead teacher or assistant teacher will be away for a day or more. Utilizing a teaching plan, substitute teachers will work with students to teach lessons, supervise recess and lunch, prepare classroom materials, and fully participate in the school day. We seek individuals who share our enthusiasm for teaching and learning within a collaborative environment that is inspired by our commitment to diversity and multiculturalism.
Experience with children and a completed undergraduate degree are preferred.
Interested applicants should send: letter of interest, resume, and (3) current references including a contact phone number for each person.
