ISB seeks a Full-Time Leave Replacement History Teacher for October - January of this School Year
Experience teaching in an IB school preferred
Ability to tailor instruction to help students develop interest in the subject and to differentiate instruction based on individual needs
Experience teaching social studies/history
Experience teaching in an international school is a plus
Description of position
Teach 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Individuals & Society class (one section of each grade, each of which meets four times per week) in English
Substitute teach for other classes as necessary
Work one-on-one with students who struggle with English language learning
Serve as advisor (homeroom teacher) each day
The individual will partner with teachers who teach the same courses in Spanish and French, but this position entails teaching the classes in English.
