SMART IRB Principal Software Engineer
This posting is a grade 59 and requires a higher level of competence and experience than the requirements listed on Requisition #46643BR, Senior Software Engineer, grade 58. It also does not require the Lead responsibilities as Req #46640BR, Lead Software Engineer, grade 59. Only one of these requisitions will be filled. The grade and role will depend on the incumbent's skills and experience and position requirements.

MA/MS in computer science or related field is preferred. Ideal candidates will have professional experience with end-to-end development (front-end, web services, database design) and building transactional workflow systems. Experience working with Agile methodologies (continuous integration, unit testing, iterative development) is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with technical leadership, sponsors, and end-users. Prior experience in the development of biomedical informatics applications and scientific software is highly desirable.
