Qualified candidates will be responsible for performing low and high risk perinatal Obstetric (OB) ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols. Candidates should have special interest and expertise in prenatal diagnosis and OB ultrasound with the ability to recognize normal and pathological conditions and apply additional modalities as indicated (i.e. Doppler, 3D/4D). Candidate should obtain relevant history via EMR, image according to protocol, review cases with the care team, and generate preliminary reports. Familiarity in recognizing and troubleshooting various imaging IT issues is required. Candidate may perform other duties, as assigned.
Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)in OB/GYN with active status.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Recent experience in a similar role and setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills: EMR, ultrasound reporting, and PACS.
RDMS in Fetal Echo.
Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) and Nasal Bone (NB)Certification.
Two to Three (2-3) years outpatient and inpatient OB experience.
Must be able to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and some overtime, as needed.
Must be able to work various locations based on business needs.
