In this challenging role, you will support the EDCT/Healthcare department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
-Responsible for all aspects of program coordination for the Nursing Assistant, OMA, and Medical Interpretation programs, including course design and delivery, managing adjunct instructors, as well as building a pool of additional resources.
-Take an active role in developing syllabi, lesson plans, student assignments, course outline, course calendar, and exams consistent with curriculum requirements for the SC Department of Health & Human Services. Track NACES scores. Determine trends and outcomes of NA students, assist with employment education, and ensure that course delivery and materials are up to date with best practices. Work as a team member to accomplish the goals of the department.
-Schedule rooms, track student progress, maintain and order all needed course materials, supplies, and equipment. Maintain accurate information in Student Manager. Complete monthly reports. Instruct in the Nursing Assistant course day or evenings. Maintain competencies.
-Meet with vocational instructors on a regular basis. Acquire/maintain affiliations with clinical sites. Assign new students to Practicum sites. Market programs. Conduct prospective student interviews and gather pre-requisite information.

30 hours per week
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of an associate's degree and three (3) years of experience.
-RN approved as an instructor by the SC Department of Health & Human Services.
-Able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
-Experience in prioritizing, time management, development of course materials, and course management abilities.
-Computer and software skills necessary to prepare monthly reports, maintain student records, and prepare excel spreadsheets.
-Experience managing revenue.
-Ability to exercise judgment and discretion and handle issues in a professional manner.
-Exhibits self-motivation, a strong attention to detail, and a high level of work ethic and integrity.
