Qualified candidates will possess 3-5 years of experience in classroom teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Green Vale seeks candidates who are skilled, creative, innovative, and adept at employing technology in the classroom. Effective writing and speaking skills, a good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Teaching science to middle school students in grades 6-8
Knowledge of the content covered in general science, specifically, Life, Earth and Physical Science
Expertise of content covered in the Living Environment/Biology curriculum
A commitment to working with students and an enthusiasm for making real world connections through the field of science
A willingness to collaborate with others and continually inspire students to love learning
