We are seeking an accomplished educator to co-lead the Elementary/Lower School curriculum group at the Klingenstein Summer Institute, a two-week professional learning experience for early career teachers. This position represents an opportunity to work in collaboration with other exceptional Independent School educators in ways that many lead teachers have described as their own best professional learning experience.
Lead teachers embrace the work of instructing, coaching, and mentoring adult learners. Together with their co-lead, this educator plans and facilitates discipline-specific curriculum group sessions throughout the institute and partners with their lead teacher colleagues to cultivate an effective professional learning community.
Lead teachers co-facilitate group conversations to deepen participants’ understanding of equity and inclusion work in Independent Schools, a key component of all participants’ learning during the Institute.

Able to reside on the Institute’s host campus while the Institute is in session: June 17th - 30th and to attend orientation beginning June 15th.
