Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC), has an immediate opening for a District Superintendent to be stationed at its headquarters in Baker City, Oregon.
The District Superintendent is responsible for all construction, maintenance and operations in the Baker District and supervises the Foremen, Linemen, and Operations Assistant for the district. A full position description can be viewed at www.otecc.com/careers.
OTEC has 83 employees and four district offices serving approximately 30,000 members located in eastern Oregon. Surrounded by national forest lands, our service area is known for its excellent hunting, fishing, skiing, and other outdoor recreational activities. Applicants must have the following education and experience to be considered:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ten years of increasingly responsible experience in electric utility construction and maintenance; demonstrated knowledge of electric line crew operations, electrical principles and safety codes; and the ability to supervise others and work effectively with associates and members is required.
