The DASL Data Integrity Specialist supports the Director of Data Strategy and Operations to ensure that DASL data are relevant, accurate, and complete. This includes supporting the data collection efforts, conducting data scrubbing and validation during and after those efforts, and supporting the DASL team’s work with schools to make effective use of the data in school leadership work.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts analyses to identify erroneous data in DASL, and collaborates in the process of engaging schools to fix those errors;
Participates in the development of process and tools in DASL to prevent, detect and eliminate data errors;
Participates in the outreach to and support of schools in using those tools;
Contributes to the annual data collection efforts in DASL;
Serves as the go-to for Tier 2 and 3 support calls for DASL tools, including School Surveys, Demographic Center, and DASL;
Engages with discovery efforts to understand user needs across the DASL suite of services, and participates with the DASL team in the ongoing improvement of the tools and services;
Assist the DASL team members in the administration of the data services throughout the year;
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience in managing and analyzing large data sets, using tools such as Excel, R, etc.
Some college or college degree is preferred
