Waring School, a co-educational, college preparatory day school for Grades 6-12 in Beverly, MA, seeks a Humanities Teacher for Fall of 2019. Our ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and sharing a love of Humanities (history, literature, social studies) in our discussion-based high school classes, with the possibility of some middle school teaching. Other academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular interests are highly valued in our learning community. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with Master’s degree and/or two years teaching experience preferred.

Waring School is a co-educational, academic college preparatory school serving 164 students in Grades 6-12 in Beverly, MA, on Boston's North Shore. Founded in 1972, Waring offers challenging academics, extensive studio and performing arts, championship athletics, and a rich curriculum of French immersion and cultural exchange programs. Student travel is part of the program at all levels, including two trips to Europe in Grades 9 and 11. Waring uses multi-age groupings and offers numerous opportunities for student leadership.
