There is an Associate Teacher opening for January through June of the 2018-2019 school year at Cold Spring School. Associate Teachers:
-Help to develop the curriculum.
-Work with the Head Teacher to implement guidelines for behavior in the classroom and to foster each child’s social growth. Share with the Head Teacher any significant situations with children that come up when the Head Teacher is not present.
-Work closely with the parents of the students and keep the Head Teacher informed of communications with parents.
-Participate in short and long range planning in science, social studies, language arts, and mathematics.
-Contribute to the life of the Cold Spring School community by attending faculty meetings, open houses and other school activities.
-Eight hour daily schedule, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
-Plan and conduct activities for our extended day program, including time for snack, time outdoors whenever possible, and time to work on homework for children in grades 4-6.
