The Assistant Principal - Faculty Development supervises the Upper School Faculty Coaching and Auxiliary Professional development teams, assists and supports individual faculty in planning professional growth, goal setting and reflection; and works with the Principal and Academic Dean to plan and implement late starts, grade level meetings, and in-service professional development. The position reports directly to the Upper School Principal.
The Assistant Principals are expected to attend evening and weekend events such as dances and transition meetings for parents. This is a 12 month full time position beginning August 2019.
A master’s degree is preferred. Previous experience in administration and/or leadership roles and at least five years of classroom teaching are required.
