\u00b7 Workcollaboratively with full and part time faculty to maintain an active practice.
\u00b7 TheAppointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtheranceof the university\u2019s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care,outreach and public service.
\u00b7 Thefaculty member will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing thepractice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successfulfrom both a professional and business point of view.
\u00b7 Thefaculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education,professional and faculty development and scholarship. Previous work experience in primary care isrequired.
\u00b7 TheAppointee will directly see patients in their clinic eight half days per weekand have two half day\u2019s available for administrative duties/scholarship duties. Expectations for number of patients seen perhalf day will be commensurate with that of other faculty and with minimumtarget numbers of 8-10 visits per half day depending on complexity of thepatient population.
\u00b7 TheAppointee will be expected to document using the electronic health record andmaintain complete and timely patient care documentation consistent with OHSUand Family Medicine policies and procedures.
\u00b7 Beavailable for teaching activities including but not limited to residentprecepting, student precepting, didactics and more.
\u00b7 Bymutual agreement between the Department and the physician, this position mayinclude Inpatient Care (at OHSU and/or Tuality) with call duties being sharedwith the faculty inpatient call group.
\u00b7 TheAppointee will be expected to participate in seeing patients during expandedaccess hours in the clinic, including their share of evenings and weekends, andcall coverage. The Appointee will be expected to have a strong commitment todeveloping the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, whichis successful from both a professional and business perspective.
