Maret School seeks to hire a dynamic, collaborative, forward-thinking educator to teach Humanities. The ideal candidate possesses experience teaching a wide range of topics in the Humanities including both English and History. If you have taught an elective at the upper school level, please include course name(s). Please also indicate areas of interest you would like to explore teaching as a high school elective. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching issues of equity and inclusion through a study of diverse cultures and communities throughout the world with an emphasis on non-Western cultures. Maret's Humanities Department welcomes lifelong learners willing to grow as teachers and mentors.
Applicants with a minimum of three years teaching experience in upper school and an appreciation for interdisciplinary approaches to learning preferred.
