Proof School invites applications for a teaching position in biology, to begin July 2019. We have low course loads, small class sizes, and a small, vibrant school community. Proof School is located in downtown San Francisco and provides a rich liberal arts education for kids in grades 6 through 12 who love math.
The position includes establishing our biology lab, and teaching both core and elective courses in biology. Courses are expected to include a substantial wet lab component, and the core high school biology program should include, and go beyond, the AP Biology syllabus over a two-year course sequence.
We seek an individual who can construct engaging classroom activities and play a significant role in the full life of the school. Prior secondary school teaching experience or post-college education is preferred and a bachelor’s degree is required.
