Vail Mountain School is seeking a collaborative, experienced, and nurturing Spanish & Mandarin Teacher to fill a full-time teaching position for the 2019-2020 school year. Experience with the following preferred: Fluent in both Spanish and Mandarin, Responsive Classroom, Love & Logic, Foundations, Professional Learning Communities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a K-12 environment, along with experience in an independent school setting with a demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning. The ability to build rapport and communicate well with students, colleagues, and parents is critical. Candidates should have an interest in and experience with outdoor education such as hut trips, alpine skiing, hiking, etc. Enthusiasm about being a part of the VMS community is a must.
