The Elementary School Principal serves as the educational leader and chief administrator of the school; and under the direction of the Superintendent is responsible for direction of the instructional program, operation of the school plant, giving direction and oversight in staff and student activities; and exercising educational leadership in the community.
The Healdsburg Unified School District offers an academically rigorous education to 1440 students from TK to 12th grade. HUSD includes a charter elementary school, a traditional elementary school, a middle school, high school, and an alternative education high school. Healdsburg Unified is a small K-12 district in north Sonoma County. Though small, we offer robust programs and state-of-the-art facilities, including CTE courses at both our junior high and high school.
