Harbor Day School is seeking a full-time fourth grade teacher beginning in the 2019-2020 academic year. Candidates must demonstrate a strong knowledge of elementary level language arts, math and social studies. Experience with Reading and Writing Workshop and Singapore math is preferred. Strong communication skills with parents and students and the ability to collaborate with other members of the faculty are a must. Creating a connected, caring and highly engaging classroom environment is an important part of our school culture.
A teaching credential and three to five years of teaching experience are recommended. All grades in kindergarten through fifth are made up of two classes of 22 students each.
