The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, an independent K-12 boys’ school, seeks an energetic full time middle school history teacher beginning in August 2019. The successful applicant will teach up to five sections of history, serve as an advisor to a group of middle school students, act as a middle school coach, and be actively involved in all facets of school life.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in history and at least two years of experience teaching middle school history. A master’s degree in history is desired, as well as knowledge of best practices of instructional and pedagogical techniques most beneficial to adolescent boys and an interest in working with students of diverse backgrounds.
