Computer Science Teacher: St. Margaret’s is seeking a Computer Science teacher for grades 7-12 to begin in August 2019. We are seeking a teacher who is a collaborative educator, excellent communicator, and has the ability to utilize strategies to develop students' computational thinking.
Primary teaching responsibilities include: ? Introduction to Programming with topics in robotics, virtual reality, and game design ? AP Computer Science A (Java), ? AP Computer Science Principles ? Post-AP Computer Science: Software Engineering and Informatics, and Artificial Intelligence

Ideal candidates will have the following background: ? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field ? Prior teaching experience in programming, ideally grades 7-12 ? Expertise in Java and other programming languages, such as Python, Unity, or Processing, along with some familiarity with Virtual Reality, Arduino, Lego Mindstorms, or other robotics platforms. ? Independent school experience is a plus.
