The Academy at Penguin Hall, a college preparatory school for young women in grades 9-12, seeks a creative, dynamic Physics and Engineering teacher. Successful candidates should be capable of teaching a broad array of science classes, developing elective courses in engineering and/or advanced physics, and designing a rich and innovative laboratory program that includes opportunities for students to conduct their own experimental research.
Full-time faculty members at The Academy teach five classes and serve as faculty advisors and club and activity sponsor outside of the classroom. Candidates with independent school experience, a commitment to staying up to date on current pedagogical practices within their discipline, and a desire to create interdisciplinary curriculum are strongly encouraged to apply.
