Annie Wright is seeking a Middle School Spanish Teacher to begin on August 19, 2019. This is a full time position.

Position Overview: duties & responsibilities
The Middle School Spanish Teacher :
teaches in alignment with the mission and philosophy of Annie Wright Schools and with the International Baccalaureate framework;
works closely with the Director of Middle School and other faculty to develop the Language Acquisition program, and teaches Spanish in Grades 6, 7, and 8;
collaborates with other faculty, including the Director of Middle School, student Advisors, the Lower & Middle School Counselor, and other colleagues to develop programming;
participates in collaborative planning and faculty meetings, serves as a Middle School Advisor, and fulfills other duties as assigned.
The Middle School SpanishTeacher:
holds a BA in Spanish, Education, or a related field and experience as a teacher at the Middle School level;
is eligible to work in the United States;
and demonstrates enthusiasm for working with Middle School-aged students and for the subject, familiarity with trends in education, flexibility, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
