Edmund Burke School seeks a permanent, full-time high school science teacher for the fall of 2019 whose primary responsibility will be to teach a total of four sections of Biology and Chemistry, as well as advise in the high school. The ideal candidate will have at least an undergraduate degree in chemistry or a biological science, with substantial coursework in both disciplines, as well as a minimum of three years experience teaching at the secondary level. Extensive use of technology (iPads, Vernier data collection and analysis equipment, etc.) as part of a rich and innovative experiential learning program involving laboratory and field studies is also an expectation of the position. Candidates should indicate a preferred salary range when applying.
