Cold Spring School is seeking a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics teacher (STEM) to lead students in grades preschool though sixth grade in project based curriculum that teaches children to become problem solvers, innovators, researchers and inventors.
Deliver STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning curriculum.
Must be able to work with a wide range of children from ages 3-13.
Must keep parents informed, through the Head teacher, about each child’s progress.
Must be able to teach to multi-grade classes, preschool through sixth grade
Must be able to teach 7th or 8th grade level math to a small group of 6th grade students each day.
Work with teachers regularly to integrate classroom learning into STEM curriculum.
Attend professional development and training related to STEM programs and stay abreast of current research.
Work directly with teachers to help them develop, implement, and evaluate STEM initiatives and curriculum within the classroom.
Attend our weekly School Meeting and run the technology needs related to student shares.
Assist faculty and staff with various technology needs.
Run technology at special school events
Write progress reports for all students twice a year.
4-5 days with full benefits.
$45,000-$55,000 commensurate with experience.
