The Hun School of Princeton, an independent, coeducational boarding/day school enrolling a diverse student body of 630 in grades 6-PG that is defined by its highly engaging college preparatory curriculum; broad extracurricular programs; supportive faculty who know and care for their students; and a happy, kind, respectful spirit, seeks a full time History and Global Studies teacher with expertise in American Government, United States, and World History. Student-centered lesson plans and the integration of technology in the classroom are increasing emphases at the school as is our effort toward interdisciplinary, experiential, and skills-based instruction. Responsibilities will include the teaching of 4 sections, serving as an advisor, and coaching up to two seasons (or the equivalent). A degree in the social sciences with at least three years of independent school teaching experience is preferred.
