Walker seeks an energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated individual for a full-time Computer Science and Robotics position working with students in grades 7 – 12 for the 2019-2020 school year. Responsibilities include leading both introductory and advanced courses in computer science and technology, which may include programming courses and/or robotics. The teaching load is five sections along with serving as a grade level advisor. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching computer science, have experience in a technology related field, experience with robotics or a willingness to learn, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Classroom teaching experience is required, and a Master’s degree or advanced course work is preferred. Salary is based on degrees earned and years of experience and is commensurate with other independent schools in the area.
