The Elementary Principal is under the direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and is responsible for providing the overall leadership necessary to enhance the instructional program in all academic areas. The Elementary School Principal additionally is responsible for developing a supportive and positive relationship between all constituents of the school. The Palm Springs Unified School District has high expectations for academic performance for each student and is looking for that individual with the background and experience to enhance an already strong program.

Required: Valid California administrative credential authorizing service in this position. Five (5) or more years successful teaching experience or related experience, and minimum of two (2) years successful administrative experience. Master’s Degree. Character, personality, and social capability to relate and communicate effectively with staff, students and community.
Additional Salary Information: The District contributes $14,362 annually towards any medical benefit plan selection. A monthly payroll deduction is activated to cover any amount over $14,362.
