Riverdale’s Science Department is seeking an extraordinary educator to join our team for 2019-2020 and beyond, teaching a combination of Biology courses. Candidates with additional strong content background in Chemistry would also be attractive, as are those with an interest in teaching science elective courses.
All candidates for Riverdale teaching positions should demonstrate an interest in engaging students in an environment that is both supportive and rigorous and will participate in community activities including advising groups, service opportunities, or other co-curricular activities. Our Middle School and Upper School are located together, so candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching across the divisions are especially attractive. A Bachelor's degree is required; Masters and Doctoral degree holders will receive additional consideration.
