The Covenant School is seeking a dedicated and well rounded individual to teach Environmental Systems and Honors Environmental Seminar, an advanced level course, at The Upper School.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background and commitment to the liberal arts and sciences with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: environmental science, biological science, earth science, or closely related science field. Additionally, he or she will possess the ability to lead students with a Christian pedagogy into the beauty, wonder, and knowledge of God’s creation and a desire to integrate the course subject matter with those of other courses within and outside the discipline. The candidate should be passionate about working with adolescents, able to connect with them, and committed to their formation as individuals on the cusp of adulthood. Given Covenant’s mission, candidates must also have the ability to share their Christian faith authentically in the context of their teaching.
