Ensworth is now accepting applications for an energetic, experienced, and community-oriented Middle School Science Teacher for the 2019-20 school year. This is a 10-month faculty position reporting to the Head of Middle School and Science Department Chair. A master’s degree and three or more years of experience at the middle-school level is preferred, but not required.
Confidence, character, and a love for learning grow day by day in Ensworth’s Middle School, which consists of grades six through eight. In close partnership with families, teachers work to understand, guide, challenge, and nurture their students as the students learn to think creatively and work cooperatively and independently. Our Middle School science program is skills-based and the ideal candidate will have experience helping students hone problem-solving and lab skills in the life sciences, earth sciences, and physical sciences.
