Demonstrate a penchant for teaching early childhood children and helping them to achieve their fullest potential
Possess a thorough understanding of the curricular and instructional elements of foreign language instruction
Possess fluency in the spoken and written Spanish language
Demonstrate a love of teaching Spanish and the desire to nurture and shape the lives of young students through inquiry and experimentation
Design learning objectives, lessons and activities that are tactile and or incorporate active learning activities to understand fundamental Spanish language skills
Support disciplinary literacy development in Spanish lessons and activities
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Spanish or education preferred.
At least three years of demonstrated experience in teaching.
Coursework and or professional training in early childhood development and Spanish.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compatibility with the School’s values, culture, and current administration and faculty are a must.
