The Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, MD is seeking candidates to fill the position of High School Physics and Chemistry Teacher for the 2019-2020 academic year. The position may be part-time or full-time.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in teaching both physics and chemistry at the high school level; is engaging, dynamic, and flexible; and has demonstrated success working within a team.
The candidate must possess a BA or a BS in either physics or chemistry (or a related field). A master’s degree in the subject area or in education is preferred but not required. Experience in differentiated instruction and working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
