The Waldorf School of Lexington, now in its 48th year, seeks a part-time (hourly) math skills assistant teacher to support our students in grades 2-5 for the 2019-2020 academic year. This position will support class teachers to provide small group/one-on-one assistance in the implementation of the school’s mathematics curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred); demonstrated interest in the philosophy and methods of Waldorf education; elementary teaching experience; energy, commitment, and vitality for working with elementary aged children; and the ability to collaborate with the class teacher. Waldorf training and/or teaching experience is preferred.
