Ensure the development, implementation, monitoring, supervision, and assessment of a self-contained, department based, quality clinical fieldwork portion of the academic program for candidates in the School of Education. Programs include elementary and secondary education, bilingual education, special education, Induction credential, general education credential, school counseling credential, administrative services credential programs, school psychology program, and of the clinical portions of the higher education, Catholic school leadership and doctoral programs through active leadership of and engagement with the clinical fieldwork portion of said academic programs.
Typically a Master's Degree in education or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of changes in best practices in teacher preparation candidate fieldwork, practicum and internship experiences, state credentialing requirements, as well as national standards, as applicable across programs..
Valid State of California credential required.
Minimum four years' experience in educating and/or supervising K – 12 school professionals. Five years K – 12 teaching experience required.
